"Operation Warm Welcome"

Treat yourself and do some good!

‘"Operation Warm Welcome" is the name of the significant cross-government effort under way right now to ensure Afghans arriving in the UK receive the vital support they need to rebuild their lives, find work, pursue education and integrate into their local communities.

I’ve been deeply moved by the stories I’ve heard of so many people reaching out to Afghanis whose lives would be impossible under the Taliban regime. It’s been a sort of Dunkirk by WhatsApp.

For most refugees their first glimpse of England is the south coast, the iconic white cliffs. These are the same white cliffs that have inspired so much of my recent artwork.

To do my part to extend the warmest welcome, I’m selling some these paintings, framed, with 100% of the profit going to the Hummingbird Project, a Brighton based charity who say, “Join us to say loud and clear that refugees are welcome!” And I hope you will join us too.

By selling these 5 paintings, we can raise £1000 for the Hummingbird Project. And these are only the first five, I hope to paint more.

All of these pieces are 9in x 9in square, and come framed.

If you'd like to help me extend this warmest welcome and have one of these little paintings on your wall, just click on the painting of your choice. It'll feel good!
