Seana Mallen is an award-winning painter and printmaker and inspiring teacher.

She splits her time between the south coast of England and her native California, inspired by the ever changing beauty of both coasts.

Seana’s paintings capture fleeting and dramatic moments of light, and invite you to wander into the woods or along the river with her.

She uses loose, bold layers of paint and collage that produce expressive textured and colourful landscapes.

Inspired by the views she encounters on dog walks every day, she channels the South Downs, the River Adur, and the shingle beaches of the south coast to create beautiful evocative abstracted compositions that spark the viewer’s own memories and imagination.

As well as painting, she has been inspiring and encouraging people to explore their creativity through art for many years. Seana is passionate about helping others find their own creative voice and has a deep understanding of the value of art in our lives. She is an incredible teacher and mentor, and her enthusiasm for her craft is contagious.
